My reflections on Values and Conflict Activities

I only attend the second day of this session so therefore I will only be able to discuss half of the content for this blog.

During the session we talked about the types of conflicts which included 4 types. Pathway, Mutually exclusive, Distributive, and value conflict. We also continued to talk about the level of intensities for conflicts which includes normal, pervasive, and overt levels.

I enjoyed the activity where we try to come up with four words to describe computers as a whole class. It was my favorite because it was a challenging activity in the sense that we had 2 mins to complete and getting a whole classroom to decide on 4 words is tough. I think overall I enjoy how it makes me engage with the class content more.

The four words in the 4W builder were information, communication, connected, and efficient.

I think these activities are introduced to this course because it helps the people that are usually shy or not as engaged to become less shy and speak their minds more. This would result in a better learning experience.
